Now, there is an insight that stopped me in my tracks.
Are your posts one sentence or less? (You are in your 20's/30's.
Are your posts a paragraph or so? (You are in your 40's).
Are your posts long multiple paragraphs? (You are over 50)
And so, technology constrains and works its magic on the feeble-minded.
If your posts are more than one sentence, you need to get a life.
If you spend your life thumbing quaint one-liners, your brain will atrophy even more than it already has.

I was a brain washed liberal until I read Ayn Rand’s Atlas Shrugged when I was 15 years old. Took a couple of more years to become socially conservative.
High schools, colleges and universities, ABCNNBCBS, NPR, and failed parenting.

I figured most freepers were smart enough to know that my comment was referring to EXACTLY THAT - public schools from YEARS ago but sadly, that didn’t seem to be the case.
Others who replied had everyone being in public schools in the past 20 years or so. They couldn’t see that the majority of us OLD folks were in school LONG, LONG AGO as were our kids....Need I mention that some of us remember the one room schoolhouses? I would hope that those same freepers would have sense enough to know that there wasn’t any indoctrination going on when we attended in the forties and fifties. History didn’t BEGIN with their recollections...it’s been there a long, long time!
If we’re dealing with freepers who do remember the brainwashing they say is taking place, that explains a lot of posts here! Follow the leader, be a lemming...whatever the first comment is, agree with it and build from there. Independent thinking? Not as much here as years ago. Adopt the same clichés-”public schools” become “government schools”, GOPe, etc. Gets old!
I have no clue when schools became different as I didn’t have children in school until the eighties, graduating in the nineties and emerging as conservatives as their parents.
The change in schools was very gradual and driven from the coasts. I had to intervene in my kids history class in 2004 because the teacher was rewriting the history of the Civil War. Now days I don’t think they even teach the Civil War as a history lesson, it is a SJW subject.
