You can’t reason someone out of something they didn’t reason themselves into, either politics or religion.
I did, but I also had parents who took interest into what went on at school and cared to call out bullshit when they saw it.
Many Gen Y/Millennials I grew up with had parents who either:
A) Were workaholics, not really present for their kids.
B) Brain-dead hippies who never grew up and drank/did drugs in front of their kids, enabling stupidity and bad behavior to be “cool” and “friends” with their kids.
C) Didn’t really care so long as they got As and could brag/live vicariously through their children by forcing them to be overachievers.
D) All of the above.

I’ll postulate another theory.
Like the German Nazis, unhappy people need a scapegoat...so they blame us...Since conservatives, those who are Christians, and some who are not, are generally happy.
That pisses off libs even more, and they dig in their heels and believe anything contrary to us.
They actually have more faith than us in a strange way...The stuff they believe, like the world was created out of nothing by mere chance, takes amazing faith to believe such BS...believe such stuff for long enough, and fester hatred, and it brings you to a mental disorder as coined by Michael Savage.
There, that is my theory.
I have always observed, that when confronted with facts..., LIBS always reply with "I Know, But", etc. They have an outlook, opinion, or, feeling that prevents them from dealing with reality! It IS a mental condition..., not often treatable!
Up until recently, it did not pay to be a young liberal.
They went broke and became a normal people what pay taxes.
Pretentious children have not had as encouragement as they have lately since “their guy” as been in “charge”
Since there has been a lot of money going to liberal pseudoscience, it pays to be a child long after it is reasonable.

That is correct. The public schools will NOT allow teachers to teach from a conservative standpoint. The entire system has been subverted by radical leftists and they intend to keep it that way and they are NOT playing. The people coming out of public schools are literally brainwashed.
Following school, and ten years into my career in broadcasting, someone gave me a book by Conrad Black's wife, Barbara Amiel, who was a media pundit and writer in Canada. Her book, "Confessions" (1980) was a stab at the heart of liberalism and I became an instant convert and a hard right-winger ever since.
Here's Amiel's opening line from her chapter on the media, "Perhaps having a state of mind somewhat akin to that of a turnip is the best way to begin a media career in Canada."
I was hooked. Who would dare demean the revered world of journalism, the absolute pillar of honesty? She was slandered and hated by the knuckle-dragging left, but an eye-opening beacon to those of us who had been severely brainwashed by the liberal education system...and didn't even know it. Perhaps it was the sexual revolution, drugs and rock & roll, or the thrill of protesting that clouded our thinking, but I chalk it up to all those free subscriptions to Time Magazine's "student edition" that warped our world view. I've never forgiven them for that.
