Yeah, cause it’s not like the Senate would confirm a bunch of gays to the Supreme Court, or seat a presidential candidate with questions outstanding about his birth and eligility, or openly thwart the will of the people, or say one thing when campaigning and do the opposite once in office, or accept tons of Chinese stock, or get rich in office.
True, we have seen a lot of outrageous things in our govt, and Obama has managed to appoint a ridiculous cast of characters throughout the executive branch. But Huma is practically a household name at this point. Her nomination would bring ‘tabloid’ like scrutiny. Crazy candidates for AG or EPA pass under the average person’s radar, sadly.
