Weiner neatly puts into ONE NUTSHELL what is wrong with American politics:
The people are mostly FINE, it’s just the political class that is twisted, immoral and intensely HATEFUL of exactly those factors that turned the USA into a magnet for people all across the world.
He was an off-putting, insulting, reckless braggart.
It was only our luck that he went too far and brought everything into focus for the many busy apolitical people who never read news, and probably never read ANYTHING.
Weiner is PERFECT:
Politics is interested in ALL of us, even the 90% of Americans not interested in politics.
BUT:
Weiner brings DICK PICS, which makes things SIMPLE and FUNNY.
That means instead of this scandal being the bread & butter of net addicts and newshounds, instead it becomes the pliable fodder of theater ticket takers, parking lot attendants, telemarketers, etc.
That is maaaaaany more people.
Male nudity is simple, disgusting and most importantly FUNNY..!!!
