There’s a phenomenon in psychological testing concerning choices. When presented with two choices, people would look at the thing they would NOT ultimately choose for a few seconds longer than the one they did finally choose. Perhaps it’s a “just making sure” thing. But this phenomenon would explain the sudden shift towards Reagan and an upturn towards Trump in the voting period after “looking at” Hillary before voting began.
