Actually, Eddie Eagle is taught within the context of general safety, staying away from strangers, safe street crossing, household poisons and the central message in case the child comes across a gun.
Stop
don’t touch
Leave the area
tell an adult
Only a moron parent would equate that with teaching kids how to use guns.
Outside of a cartoon image, guns are never used, displayed or handled. Period.
So be livid and piss off.
Feeding your child a plate of lies and irrational fears is not parenting. It is brain-washing at worst and indoctrination at best.
Real parenting is keeping your child safe and giving them the knowledge and the tools to remain so when they are not within your purview.
As for Ms. Anonymous; Stupid cow.
But teaching kids that homosexual sodomy is wonderful is perfectly ok.
From the time I was in pre-school my father taught me (1) do not touch a gun unless you are with a responsible adult, (2) do not point a gun at anyone unless you intend to shoot them, (3) do not shoot anyone unless you intend to kill them, and (4) if you ever have to shoot someone to keep them from killing you, it is better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.
If that's even possible it was seven years of crappy parenting. Any seven-year-old should be able to comprehend "Stop. Don't touch. Leave the area. Tell an adult." Personally I'd prefer "Guns are cool, and anyone who doesn't think so is a useless wimp." For some reason nobody asked me...
Theyve just undone seven years of BAD parenting in one hour, the mother told reporters.
Fixed it.
Where is she from?
She may be a “Florida mom” now but I’ll bet she’s a carpetbagger.
On the left side of the picture as we are looking at it, it appears that the male appearing gender has his arm on shoulder of the female appearing gender.
Isn’t that an act of micro-aggression?
"Berg said it is hoped the document will help teachers cultivate safe and supportive discussions in the classroom. It includes advice for teachers if a student comes out about their sexual or gender orientation, as well as dealing with homophobic and transphobic behaviour. The suggestion of staging a drag show "was recommended as an optional activity that teachers could choose to participate in or not," Berg said. A purple unicorn is used in the guidebook to describe "a more authentic way of understanding gender." The Alberta Teachers' Association This guide suggests 'caretaker' could replace 'mom' and 'dad' A picture of a purple, cartoon "gender unicorn" is shown under the heading: "Where do you fall on these spectrums?" It lays out a range of options for gender identity and expression, as well as sex assigned at birth, and physical and emotional attraction."
That's not "like" evil.
That IS evil, right there in black and white.
Leave an apron and a Betty Crocker cookbook on her doorstep with a note saying “making cookies > making a fool of yourself”.
This is the reason men usually make sure that women aren’t around before they teach the kids (especially boys) useful knowledge like how to build a fire or skin a deer, and possibly even offer a small bribe to “not tell your ma”. Because even a fairly conservative wife can have a total flipout if she finds out hubby had her PRECIOUS CHILD in the vicinity of GUNS and FIRE and SHARP THINGS. I have seen this myself, repeatedly.
And with divorce lawyers on every street corner and ACLU fiends on every OTHER street corner, the end result of said flipout can be far worse than sleeping on the couch for a few nights. So now men have to be extra careful.
My eighty one YO eyes sees No.s 6.7.9 as female.. #6 Long Levis(robust), #7 at flag staff, #9(LEGS!!!!).
You may be correct but not sure I can agree with your #2??
I see a lot of arms on shoulders
The problems is this hippie mother. She is the real danger and her lack of thought is an issue that is a present danger to the public and children at large.
Maybe what they taught in that one hour made more sense to the kid.
“Theyve just undone seven years of parenting “
No mom, not parenting, indoctrination.

What’s the kids father think? Has the kid eiver met his dad?
CC
True that!
Yeah, quite a few girls on the team. My daughter would be one of them, but it just didn’t work out with her schedule this year.
What’s a sad state of affairs is that my hometown which used to be filled with pick up trucks and gun racks is getting wussified.
She should not worry. I have complete confidence that she will raise the delicate snowflake she always imagined.
I've had loaded guns in my home for over five decades, with my children and grandchildren roaming the home.
In all cases, the rug rats were TAUGHT what a loaded gun was and the respect that it demanded.
If the chilrun have no respect for their elders, they will have no respect for loaded guns.
Neither my children nor grand children would EVER 'play' with any gun, loaded or unloaded.
With today's snowflakes, I'd never try to teach them about loaded guns, I'd just have to lock them up {I mean the kids, not my guns, I'll never be unarmed}.
