You are so right and a good analysis of all that is needed to heal our nation. We have to want freedoms and liberties that our founding fathers wanted and begin the cycle of respect for God, law and our great country. If we do not get out of the comfort cycle, we’re never out of square one!

I’m heartened that so much of the commentariat seems to have the same take on the election. It’s an opportunity, that’s it. We cannot get this wrong. The position the Left has gotten us to is precarious: poised at the edge of the cliff, needing just a nudge. We need to drag the country back from the precipice. It may not be possible; the rot of the nation’s soul may be too deep. But this is the last best hope.
The Left is a boa constrictor that’s been slithering ‘round the body politic for 100 years. This is a chance to cut off the head of the snake, but there is great danger involved. Bold action must be undertaken and it will be opposed violently at every step.
