This author is ignorant, but there’s a kernel of truth in there, what I think people like him don’t realize is that it was the left who introduced identity politics into our polity, not the right. The right was singing the praises of individualism, but the left was talking group rights. Eventually, white people woke up to the fact that if everyone was acting on behalf of their group, white people would be fools to completely close their eyes to it.

I was going to make a post on this subject. When the left preaches nothing but group identity politics and tribalism, and when people see that it works, eventually every body will start to embrace it.
