This is not a “Sarah Slams Trump” deal. Sarah, correctly, just makes the point that “paying” businesses tax dollars to STAY somewhere in the long run is not GOOD.
That said, Trump knows this, but, still out of office, he is just trying to make his point that this bs has got to stop!
Sarah’s right and Trump’s right!
That’s a very fair assessment!
Once Trump becomes president (hey can we move that up to /tomorrow/?), if his policy turns out to effectively be a bunch of carrier deals, I’ll be the first to oppose him. But he’s not in the White House yet, and so can’t make broad policy changes. This is the best he can do.
Likewise, Sarah is right to point out that these kinds of deals are wrong, and to keep us focused on the sorts of policies that America needs, after years of Democrat crony capitalism. When we finally can set policy, we need across the board policies, not pick-and-choose “Solyndra” economics.
No need to tear ourselves apart and turn on people who share our ideology just because some liberal media rag tries to make Sarah into our enemy, nor to assume the worst about Trump just because he did this *once* to set an example when he doesn’t have the power to do more.
