Worst case scenario (*very* worst)...the EVs of all three states are denied to DJT thanks to delays and legal challenges which render all three results “unconfirmed” on deadline day.The election goes to Congress.The House elects DJT,the Senate elects Pence.So Trump's credibility is damaged (in the eyes of David Brooks,at least).

That is what the left is saying because they hope to brainwash the sheeple into thinking Trump’s credibility would somehow be damaged - however would Trump’s credibility actually be damaged in fact? The premise will be shown to be faulty. At that point Trump could show that there were millions of illegal democrat votes.

Not that this election will go to Congress - that is a highly highly unlikely scenario as you point out.

I see this as a what if:

All three states are not allowed to cast their electoral votes because the recounts aren’t done.

That does not increase Hillary’s EC count, but it diminishes Trumps (possibly below 270) which still should be a problem because it’s the majority of the
EC votes cast that wins the election.

BUT since the gulf between EC votes for Trump and Clinton is diminished, Clinton tries to peel off enough electors that will turncoat and vote for her.

I don’t believe it has anything to do with actual votes that the recount will turn up, only with slowing the process down, and disallowing the electoral votes from those states.

Just my 2 cents.
