I’ll stick with the original Ruger 22 pistol, thanks.

Mine is an original Mark 1, made in 1953, year I graduated from HS.

Have my Dad’s Mk I, circa 1955.

FWIW I acquired an Erma RX-22, a .22 copy of the Walther PPK. Fun to shoot & a good subcaliber stand-in for my Makarov & P-64. Not expensive, either.

1953, Wow! Mine is made in 79 but then again I graduated a bit after you! I love that gun.

Yep. I love my Mark I (Bull Barrel). Thought about getting something newer, but it still ‘drives tacks’ and never fails to function.

Mine was my Dad’s, he got it in the late 60s (I think).

I’m not sure how many rounds have been fired through it, but it is as accurate today as it was when I was a kid (1970s).

I am a Ruger fan.
