Yeah, right. Just drop it off at the government exchange so they can store it safely

The real news here is that the RINO-controlled Senate failed to cede some of its treaty authority to King Barry.

-—“It will contribute to international peace and security,...-—

Whenever they say ‘peace and security’, it has the same meaning as ‘for the children’.

An automatic thumbs down.

Nah, no Senate ratification needed. This is The Won we're talking about here! He can bind the US just by sheer force of will, that old obsolete parchment by all the dead white male slave-owners be damned!

(See the way everyone's talking about Trump "withdrawing" from the Paris "climate" treaty if you don't believe me)

the power, money hungry anti-gun democrats just had their asses handed to them on Nov 8th because of their big government commie agenda. Any of them who are dumb enough to still sign on to this obozo UN gun control BS are risking another kick in the groin.

Absolute attempt to invalidate our Constitution, strip our sovereignty and infringe our 2A rights via a foreign power.

Yes they seek to limit our guns while they sell arms for billions all over the planet. Shall we disarm ourselves and let them keep theirs?

And he's right, because it's going into the dumpster at light speed.

It’s irrelevant and means nothing and a treaty can’t override the Constitution. A treaty has the force only of a statute, not of a constitution.

The U.S. Supreme Court has made it very clear that

1) Treaties do not override the U.S. Constitution.

2) Treaties cannot amend the Constitution. And last,

3) A treaty can be nullified by a statute passed by the U.S. Congress (or by a sovereign State or States if Congress refuses to do so), when the State deems a treaty the performance of a treaty is self-destructive. The law of self-preservation overrules the law of obligation in others.

Reid v. Covert:

A plurality of the justices in the 1957 case of Reid v. Covert, which enforced the Fifth and Sixth Amendments against a contradictory treaty, recognized such limits on the Treaty Power.

As the plurality wrote of the Supremacy Clause, “There is nothing in this language which intimates that treaties and laws enacted pursuant to them do not have to comply with the provisions of the Constitution.”
