Even though it’s from the left it’s a very fair report.

Taibbi will do that on occasion.

Of course it does. It stinks because it's complete, total, absolute bull****. A total lie, just like the Iraqi Weapons of Mass Destruction and Benghazi was over a YouTube video.

And it's being foisted on us by the bitter, angry sore losers in both the democratic party and the Bush wing of the republican party who can't accept the fact that they've both been soundly repudiated by the country.

Vladimir Putin has invited the children of American diplomats in Russia to New Year and Christmas parties in the Kremlin - despite the US expelling 35 Russian diplomats.

That, and the neocons who were helping the HRC campaign are similarly detached from what non-media conservatives think.

The Obama Admin thinks, “If Matthew Dowd is persuaded by our Russian Haxxors meme, why wouldn’t ordinary conservatives be?”

“So he will go and we can both decide that we don’t bear any responsibility for the actions of a jackass.” Russia is displaying grace, restraint and reason in this matter. They really want the American people to believe they are not their natural enemy and mean them no ill will. Time will tell if it is a brilliant deception, or genuine.

Thank God Putin is not a child.

And realizes that Obama is, while Trump is not.

Putin pretty much just told Obama he's not important enough to retaliate against - that's gotta leave a mark.

Taibbi is one of the last real journalists out there.

His reporting on the financial industry is part of what gives me pause about potential GS influence in the new administration.

“...Perhaps it was Obama...”

My conclusion is and has been that Obama could very well have ordered the hacking of Hillary’s e mail - he certainly knew all along that her server wasn’t secure.

Either Obama or Bill.

Note the guy who made the ‘jackass-Obama” comment does not work in an official capacity at the Kremlin.

Fyodor Lukyanov, chairman of the Council on Foreign and Defense Policy, a Kremlin foreign-policy advisory group.

It would be the equivalent of a writer from CFR, RAND, Heritage, Brookings, or CATO making the comment. But he said what every one in the Kremlin is likely thinking as well as 100% of FR.

It seems some lefties are discovering that their beloved Nobel-prize magic multi-culti Soweto Obama is nothing more than a statist oligarch and war-monger

the Obama/Clinton wars in Ukraine, and Syria / Libya, and the massive “refugee” crisis they have caused, pushing NATO to Russia’s borders - all follow the theme of pushing their globalist agenda, with the need to diminish and weaken Russia who is their obvious counterweight in Europe.

Taibbi did great reporting on the financial meltdown fiasco and was pretty fair in his reporting IMO. Of course his bias is left but he is more often than not a “pox on both their houses” kind of reporter. He really digs for the information unlike 99% of other ‘journalists’

This whole "Russia is hacking the election" fake meme was propaganda designed to sway conservatives, not Dems or leftists.

I watched it go down, and read it differently.

The Russian hacking meme blew up on the heels of an offhand joke Trump made at one of his rallies. He said, "Maybe Russia can find her emails."

This was at a point in the campaign when the FBI was still actively investigating Clinton's private email server. It had nothing to do with the Wikileaks release of John Podesta's emails to other Dem party operatives.

Those emails proved so embarrassing, that Debbie Wasserman-Schultz was forced to resign as head of the DNC. Hillary and the Dems scrambled to find a patsy to blame it on, and hooked on to Trump's offhand comment to cover their rears.

It was such an outrageous excuse, they've been forced to embellish and reinforce it, week by week. They've now compounded their initial lie so much, that Obama is creating real diplomatic tensions with a foreign country over it.

There will be some who will be suspicious that Putin plans to KIDNAP the children and use them to negotiate with 0bama. LOL <<<

Yup!....Whispered from the lips of the CIA and FBI partisan obama hacks......Trump needs to drain that cesspool BEFORE he can start on the swamp....

Bathhouse Barry is in trouble.

Even Rolling Stone is not buying his BS.

As I have posted before, there is something deeper and darker going on here, and it isn't who leaked the DNC e-mails that exposed their crimes.

I believe Obama knows (or strongly suspects) that Putin has the goods on him. Possibly even sex videos.

Barry is playing a high stakes game of chicken, hoping to discredit beforehand any Putin/Russian disclosure of his immoral behavior and crimes.

What, exactly, happened? What is the evidence? We are taking it on faith...

No different than the regime's alleged killing of Osama bin Laden. They never provided definitive evidence of any kind, to validate their claim. Note that no photos of the body were released, and they dumped the alleged body at sea.

Then, as now, the sycophant press didn't ask them for a single shred of proof.

The whole "Russia hack" story is just the typical shoot the messenger ploy of a guilty party. In the end, what did the hack do? It revealed factual information about the DNC's dirty tricks and the rigging of the primaries for Hillary. Hillary's people knew that Bernie Sanders supporters would be outraged, so they distracted attention from the facts revealed by turning the focus on who allegedly revealed those facts.

The analogy is this: you commit a violent crime. Someone films you committing that crime. You attempt to have the irrefutable evidence of your crime thrown out of court because (allegedly) the film was made by a personal enemy. The bottom line is that facts are facts, regardless of the source and motive. The hackers just revealed something that was A. pretty obvious to anyone watching the election and B. should have been revealed by investigative journalists.

Assange and others have insisted it was insider leaks not Russian hacking that provided the info.

Assange really needs to speak louder about that. He's letting Obama get away with this Big Lie by his weak response.

#fakenews @nytimes
from the article: “The New York Times was more aggressive, writing flatly, “Obama Strikes Back at Russia for Election Hacking.” It backed up its story with a link to a joint FBI/Homeland Security report that details how Russian civilian and military intelligence services (termed “RIS” in the report) twice breached the defenses of “a U.S. political party,” presumably the Democrats.”

No evidece of the hack. here is a link to the JAR report that just shows how it’s done and how to use yara to identify the hack. check out the disclaimer.
