Well I was hesitant at first because I thought it was a stunt and that he wasn't serious. So I didn't pay much attention to him at first, though I liked what I heard. Only that tended to make me think my thoughts about him were the correct one. Because no one who is serious would even broach the topics he was, for fear of the backlash.

But by August he had become my candidate of choice over Cruz, and I never looked back or regretted nor doubted my choice.

During the primary I ran around all over FR screaming, “Read his book! Read his book! Read his book and you will know what he will do.” Nobody was paying any attention to me. It was so frustrating. I was loving Trump and everybody was trying to figure him out. The one comment he made in the book convinced me that he was the “true” candidate for the U.S. He commented on one of his deals that didn’t go as he planned and he wrote, “I could have done (whatever it was), but that would not have been the moral choice.” When have you ever heard anyone talk about making moral choices? I was hooked by those very words and he has never disappointed me.
