We have made the Court Jester, King.
Actors used to be on the bottom of the Totem Pole in society. Now they are the Elites.

In the movie "Gettysburg" (great movie) the role of Robert E. Lee was played by Leftist Martin Sheen. General Longstreet reports that the Union army is on the move, and that the Confederates must unite their forces at Gettysburg. Lee asks Longstreet how he knows this. Longstreet says that a spy has given him the message -- "You know him sir; Harrison -- the actor."
Martin Sheen pulls back in mild disgust and says, "We should move this army ... on the word on an actor??"
I've always interpreted Sheen's delivery as a sneer at Reagan.
But, really, even actors think that actors don't know a damn thing.

No, only the ‘elite’ in their own fantasy world. The red state votes showed where their exclusive Lily Pad kingdom is. As long as they preach to the choir, and self-congratulate each other in exclusive enclaves they can pretend. The election showed the limit of their influence. They can hear us now! They don’t like the messenger-they’re gonna HATE the message sent by US!
