More proof that the educational system has been infiltrated and taken over by leftist progressives that hate America. The whole system and the unions need to be examined and investigated to determine how infested the education system has become. Numerous concurrent undercover investigations might reveal a lot.

There’s another thread about a NYC private school parents complaining about the liberal BS they have to put up with at $46K/year.

Public schools is evidence #1 that kids should be homeschooled. Betty DeVos needs to tell schools that indoctrination is not part of the curriculum. If they want to indoctrinate school children, let the local taxpayers pay for it, NOT THE TAXPAYERS IN OTHER AREAS.

“This is so inappropriate,” a parent who contacted the station said. “How can [CPS CEO Forrest Claypool] send political propaganda home?”

Simple.

A team of taxpayer-funded staff members, probably secretaries or admin assistants, spent X number of hours/days killing any number of trees photocopying the propaganda letter that they then patiently had electronically-signed and envelope-stuffed by those same secretaries/admin assistants, into envelopes paid for by tax-payer dollars using postage paid for by tax-payers dollars, and sent home to you evil Republican/Deplorable/Ignorant-and-Unaware-so-it's-not-really-Your-fault voters/taxpayers, informing you of how foolish your elected officials are for not toe-ing the Democrat/Socialist/education Union party line. Whew.

As to the actual words printed on that piece of paper, are the voters/parents really that surprised/offended to the extent that they will stop drinking the Kool-Aid offered by the proponents of Publik Edumacation in the state of Illinois?

Remains to the seen.

“Rather than cutting services and creating a crisis to help justify a campaign to raise taxes in Springfield, it would be helpful to everyone if CPS would work with all parties to enact a balanced budget package that includes comprehensive pension reform and a new and equitable school funding formula,” Illinois Secretary of Education Beth Purvis wrote, WGN reported.

But from this rather weak and toothless reply by the Illinois SofEd, I highly doubt it. With elected and un-elected bureaucrats like these . . .

Did you see how that worked out for the dimwit twit from NJ? Christie was backed by working taxpayers/homeowners and won twice (now term limits will force him out).

When that POS said she used “their union dues” she misspoke - that was OUR MONEY, funneled through their union to their political action committee: The Democratic Party. The party is nothing more than the political arm of the teachers’ unions; somehow FReepers understand it when paramilitaries in Mexico kill politicized communist teaching cadets but don’t understand we basically have the same system here.

I think they all do this.

In the 1980s, to protest budget “cuts” in my son’s wealthy suburban school (the “cut” was, of course, a 5% increase instead of a 7% increase), the teachers had the kids write letters to their parents saying that, unless the “cuts” were reversed, there would be no food for the classroom pet rabbit Bundles, so Bundles would have to be killed.

True dat. And the DOE wasn’t even five years old by then.

Drain the swamp.
