His previous unofficial position was supervisor of all news and all political coverage.
Read WikiLeaks if you don’t believe me.
There were plenty of emails in which Podesta and others in the Clinton campaign told reporters what to write.
And there were emails from reporters asking what to write and asking for approval of articles before sending them to their editor.
