My condolences. I lost my Belgian Tervuren a few years ago. I know how hard that is.
So sorry to hear it. He looks like a great dog.
Many of us have been in the same spot with our canine friends, and know exactly what you’re going through.

I lost my 2 nearly 15 year old GSPs this year.....knowing a replacement will be in the works helps a little. I’ve had 5 GSPs since my first one in 1974. You could say I’ve found the bread that suits me best.
DOG is GOD spelled backwards for a reason.....they are His gift to us in this world.

Somehow the screen just became fuzzy, I can’t explain it.
Our canine family are only with us for a short time, but for them it is a lifetime. I hope that you both enjoyed it.
Ours is only going to be 4 in May, and she’s very healthy, but all of us know that the clock is ticking.

Joe, my heart and sincere sympathies go out to you. As hard as it is, please know that you are giving Ranger the greatest act of unselfish love it is possible for you to give. I’ve had dogs continuously since 1968. Although seeing them through the end of their lives never gets easier for me, there’s one thing I’ve learned beyond all doubt. Love never dies. It definitely transcends death. There will be days you feel his presence or possibly think you hear his bark. It’s real and even though some of that will fade with time, the two of you will never truly be parted. Whatever there is beyond death in this life, all your loved ones will be there with you. Yes, even your beloved Ranger. It’s true.
Don’t forget to stop for some Chocolate Ice Cream during that ride. I’m sure Ranger will enjoy it.
He is a handsome Boy and I’m sure you have given him a Life other Dogs would be envious of. Thankfully, Dogs no nothing of envy, it a weakness we alone possess.
Being Dog people ourselves, we have had to do the sad but necessary task you now have to do.
You and Ranger are in our thoughts.
