I have a case of Meniere’s disease. I watch carefully the work they do on regenerating cilia in the inner ear.
It still looks to be five years off or so.
I’ll start wearing hearing aids soon ward off loss of brain function. When auditory cortex stops hearing certain sounds —it starts to deteriorate. That deterioration can spread.
So hearing aids are in my near future.
You learn something new every day. I did not know that.
