Who needs those good old lumbering and milling jobs? All they did was make wood products for residential and commercial construction projects. It’s much more important to provide gambling for those who lost their livelihoods. These are REAL jobs.

Pathetic. These are reparations by a different name given to Indians. This does what for the Indian Nations that sit in squalor? Furthermore, government sanctioned gambling brings very little back to people but is a bonanza to government and their cronies.

The tribe has a long way to go to get approval for their project, especially since it would cut into the revenues of nearby existing Indian casinos.

Indian casinos are the biggest scam in recent history. No benefit to local communities or to state governments. Open gambling to any American citizen who wishes to create a casino.

I have always been against casinos but I've also believed that if they're going to have one indian group have a casino, they should let them all....

with more casinos, the less each tribe will make....

of course they're all crooked anyway...

locally, one indian tribe that got the secret sauce from the dem governor to open a casino on non tribal land is now suing another indian tribe for trying to build a casino on non tribal land...

crooks all imo...

an indian tribe near Vancouver Wa just opened their new casino and the casinos down towards the Oregon beach are all so worried that their business will be affected...so now they have to worry about the other direction...

I love it....I hope it all kills their golden goose...

I find it interesting that the Indian tribes get into things like gambling and smoke shacks that both are detrimental to human beings. Which is far from the ‘pristine original environmentalist’ persona propaganda that is associated with the Indian culture.
