Incidentally, political correctness had nothing to do with the choice of ethnicity of the main character. I just wanted a character that would fit the plot.

I vaguely recall having read that (probably in 65 or 66) and enjoying it. Liked the concept at the time. I wonder where those boxes of old sci fi magazines got off to.
