I’d start worrying about the right. There are a lot of militias out there.
It was not an automatic rifle. And I can't recall anything like this from the right. There are many examples going back into the 60's from the left.

Anyone just starting to worry about Ctrl-Left violence is no expert. I’ve been worried about them since I was a young teen and union goons threatened to break both of my arms if I did not comply with union demands.

Some of us have watched this shape up from the 60s, when about 10,000 Baby Boomers, were inspired through Timothy Leary, an LSD using college professor, to join his drug and free sex revolution against all the decent culture their WWII parents stood for. They decided to go into public service to ultimately overturn our nation and it’s founding
documents, led by the efforts of Harvard and the Ivy Leagues. Very vicious, radical, groups were formed by Bill Ayres, his wife and others like him to use violence to try and bring America down. It didn’t work and now, they have jobs as Professors in Chicago, so they can teach their destructive ideology to the young. It has worked until now. We will see what the future holds now that the Millenials and the next generation cannot rely on life to be as hopeful and good as their grandparents had. When all this began at Woodstock with no “heads up” when Charlie Manson and his family were thrown in, America decided to look the other way, thinking that the madness could not continue. Well, guess what, it did continue because our legal system refused to enforce our laws as a result of a growing corruption in the culture itself, the main object of which was to destroy the foundation of society, the American family and it’s religion, Christianity. Just a little history, from someone who has lived it.
Before engaging in an in person face to face discussion about politics with a Democrat it is wise to first ask if they are armed.
Didn't the obummer say something like this on TV.... "Get in their face...bring a gun...something like that..???

Sounds like a bunch of Leftists trying to turn some people their way. Redneck? Indeed.
Sad part is that they may actually find a lot of recruits. I moved out to the Midwest expecting to find a lot of freedom loving, self sufficient people but what I found instead is a whole lot of people either on disability or trying to get on disability.
