“Its like asking how many crab-apples can you stuff in your air cleaner before your engine stops.”
There are 7 billion souls on Earth; for every inane question, there seems to be someone out there willing to muck up their own engine to answer it.
Now, all I have to do is carry 33 rubber bands with me and I can face down anyone with a 1911.
Brilliant!
Brilliant, I tells you!

(Although, truth be known, it is kind of interesting...now I need to know how much Gorilla Glue it takes to plug the barrel.)
More useless shit from a bunch of clueless high school mentality morons.
This is the kin of crap you think will get you blog hits?
If the 1911 has a round in the chamber, I’m pretty sure it isn’t disabled for at least one shot.
That’s an ASTM standard test method?
FTFY
Disable? De-able? What?
That really is nonsensical, isn’t it? Why didn’t they test the more important question “How many rubber bands can we stuff down the barrel before the gun explodes in our hands”?
That is true! You wouldn't believe the number of birds I've caught by putting salt on their tail feathers.
I wonder how many beans I can stick up my nose before I asphyxiate?
If you never make it back, we'll add one bean (or however many per that you've been adding) to the record total, to establish The Legend. d;^')
“I would hesitate to dispense useful firearms information on a public website. Too many leftist lurkers can benefit from it and right now they are in training mode for more violence against the right. They can and will use whatever they get from us against us. These are not normal times.”
What do you find useful about this information and how do you think this can possibly be used against us?
It depends if you suck.
In which case, you've made the case that it well might qualify as DISinformation, in which case then it would most definitely qualify as useful psy-ops, which is good, whether in military, or paramilitary, terms, no?

No. There are people who get a kick out of doing strange things with guns and posting it on youtube. Things like seeing how many Christmas ornaments a 22 lr can break or how many rubber bands will cause a gun to malfunction. Its done for entertainment purposes, fun or to get hits. It has no more significance than that.
I was tongue-in-cheek, sorry. Your point is well-taken.
Its sad but these days it not easy to tell when people are being humorous.
More importantly, how many Acme brand rubberbands wrapped across the front of the barrel does it take to catch the bullet, returning it back into the barrel with a long and audible cartoon like “boing!”??? Wile E. Coyote wants to know.
