So why is Channing Phillips still employed, if he/she/it was appointed by Obama? I thought Donald Trump was President now.
The article says the replacement nominee for this Obama appointee US Attorney has been stalled by Senator Schumer for eight months. I would hope that the so called Republican leadership in the Senate would PRIORITIZE the approval of the replacement. But Mitch McConnell ....well, you know!
