The GREED of the Big Theatre industrial complex is sickening. I suggest federal intervention on ticket prices. No show ticket should cost more than $50.
Any price higher is exploitation of those who love the arts.
Cultural growth and appreciation of music, dance and drama is essential to society, I think we all agree on that. Therefore, why should the wealthy few get to enjoy seeing and experiencing these performances while the poor have to go to the balcony?
So sick of thespian privilege.
Can I presume you forgot the sarcasm tag?
If people pay it, then that’s the correct price.
So if YOU owned a theater company you’d charge only $50 out of the goodness of your heart even though you could get 20x that (for the good seats)? Iow, you’d deliberately cut your profit by a significant margin in the name of “fairness?”
“thespian privilege.”
Outstanding!
