The House can impeach the president for any old reason. And if the Democrats take the House back in 2018, I think impeachment would be quite possible. Only a simple majority is needed. And today’s Democrats are not your grandfather’s Democrats.
But the Senate would not convict, as that takes a 2/3 vote. I don’t think the Deep State has enough power to pull that off, yet.
