Funny part of that hotel, is the first time I stayed my room had a Northern exposure....into the bricks of the building next to me.
I flipped and having stayed at the Plaza when Trump owned that placed and hating that POS, I let them know I friggin unhappy about the view and I’d be happy to pay to move to a room with a southern exposure.
Got lucky and they moved me to a room overlooking the park and it is the second best of view ever.
The best was, of course, at the Plaza but, those rooms looked like they had been prep’d for demo.....literally.
The toilet roll holder thingy fell apart, rust came out of the iron and the ironing board was rickety as hell.
The carpet seam was Effed up, which I might not have cared about but, it ran right down the center of room.
Opened a drape once and the whole thing came down off the wall.
So, Trump International is a great place, they upgraded my room and gave free wine.....
Oh, and Jean Georges is downstairs....
Almost forgot.
At Trump International they print your name on letterhead and give you business cards with their address.
Pretty kewel.....
Need to go back....
