I have one of those too. Inherited from my father. 22 mag. is a nasty little round.

This article seems to plagerize from this one:

Well, somebody had to "fix" the proper punctuation and sentence structure in the original

There are a number of revolvers but the few semiautos were recalled.

The Ruger LCR comes in several calibers. The .22 WMR weighs 16.6 oz (6 shots). The same model in .38 +P weighs 13.5 oz (5 shots). I would go with the .38.

Alternately, the Glock 43 subcompact in 9mm weighs 18 oz.

My philosophy is to have a light, highly concealable gun which I can carry under any circumstances, plus a .45 for times when I know I'm going to be in a bad place.

6 shot .32 Magnum in a small light revolver. Good idea. I have a 10-1/2 ounce S&W 332Ti. Easy to shoot accurately DAO. Easy to conceal in a pants pocket.

They can be fired in any weapon chambered for .22 LR (Long Rifle), which includes handguns, although they’re best in a bolt-action or single-shot rifle. Advertised velocity for the .22 LR Stinger is about 1,640 fps, whereas standard velocity .22 LR ammo generally ranges from 1,000 to 1,100 fps, so Stingers are fairly hot. I shoot CCI Stinger and CCI Mini-Mag ammo in a Sig Mosquito - a training gun that I use for women and kids - and it prefers higher-velocity ammo (although the Mini-Mags cycle and perform better). I wouldn’t hesitate to shoot Stingers in any of my wheel guns.

Considering the latest trend is for a lot of bad people to wear body armor, which the price is down to about the same as a pair of Nike’s, you’re going to need a head shot anyways. 22 would be fine.

Center fire only for me.

The little .25 ACP is center fire, and apparently not much more effective than a .22 LR?

I have an inherited little Baby Browning, snappy little thing.

“Ruger is about 10 years too late now that pocket 380s that hold 6+1 are so common and quite reliable”

Considering the Ruger LCP is one of the guns that MADE pocket 380s “common and quite reliable” I would say this new gun is Ruger just trying different things to see what sticks.

True, but is just one of the 380s. I tried it when it came out, but preferred the 380 Bodyguard.
