1. After the 1987 amnesty, the agreed-upon border security improvements never happened, and all we got was a lot more illegals. There can be no deal over 'Dreamers' without including a full border security package, including full funding for the wall, not just one-tenth of the funding needed.
2. The Dems are putting the needs of illegals ahead of Americans and our military.

Regarding the border wall, the democrats have controlled the narrative to be focused on illegal immigrants and their plight to remain in the country. Trump is the only one I’ve seen so far say the wall will also stop illegal drugs from coming in. We all know illegal immigrantion and smuggling of illegal drugs go hand in hand but the public narrative for the wall might be better served and more palatable to all Americans if the drug crime epidemic and the devastating affects it has on our country can also be expressed clearly as the devastating scourge that it truly is. We need the wall!
