Well, I can field strip a 1911 in seconds, bushing (singular), pin (singular) and all.

I guess before I posted I should have considered the possibility that there might be many more mechanically inept people out there than I thought there were.

I’ve got one Army surplus M1911 that’s tolerances so loose that it almost disassembles by itself. It still is a good shooter for self defense. While on active duty USAF I had to spend a week with a Marine gunny to qualify with the M1911 and in one week went from a fair shooter to an expert. I could disassemble the M1911 with a blindfold with pieces mixed up on a blanket in a minute. The weapon is my favorite and have more than one of them.
