Oh, the bathing ghats. I can see how she might have trouble with those. They are very steep and no handrails. Can’t even imagine her going back up.
I was there, a few decades ago.
Back in those days, a tourist would never even think to descend those steps. The bathing areas were pretty much off limits to foreign visitors.
I have no idea if that is still the case. I find it surprising to see all of these tourists heading down to the water. They really have no business being there.
Plus, it is not particularly healthy down there...
