I disagree with the author. Diana would not have made this situation better. If she were alive, she’d be right in the middle of it, seeking attention and creating more drama.
My mother used to work at a bridal salon. The owner always said that groom’s mother should wear a beige dress and keep her mouth shut. Diana could not have done that.
Half my children are boys-I’m committing that advice to memory :-).
