As a teen growing up with gay and transgender people, we (my age group) don’t care. With the older generation, yes, we know it is sinful, but we don’t want the government in the bedroom or anyplace else. My friends knows that it is an issue with the older folks, but to us, it isn’t an issue. I hope I am explaining properly.

No relation but I started going by ‘Bobby’,(instead of birth name Bob), a LONG time ago BECAUSE of Bobby Richardson! He was my favorite player. He was everything a Yankee, and a good man, should be. About 10 years ago I was playing in a senior men’s slow pitch softball league at short, and the second baseman said he went to high school with Bobby Richardson! Of course I asked him all the questions about Bobby, Stats, birth site, Yankee career etc. etc. etc. thinking it was B/S but he answered correctly 100%. To cool! He and I became friends and I even gave him one of my old ‘Sport Magazines’ with Bobby featured!......don’t remember what year the issue was though....’62 maybe? When Bobby gave the eulogy for Roger Maris, (in 1985 iirc) Mick ‘signed’
him up for his! He counseled Mick thru out his life on Christian values also. He is a great man to this day as far as I am concerned. Screw Casey for pinch hitting for him all the dang time also!
