I suspect they’ll eventually cave, but the Yankees were always more classy than the Mets. For the longest time they didn’t tolerate long hair (remember when Johnny Damon cut his hair when he moved from Boston to NY?); the trashiness was left to the Mets. Sort of like the football Giants & Jets...
