I started the 2018 Pick’em fantasy football team.

Been going on for about a dozen years. The Pick’em league is simple - just tell us each week who will win, and assign a point value to the win.

There is no cost and this is a low pressure league. Blow a week completely? It gets dropped.
We do ask that everyone make a donation to Free Republic during the season.

Since this league is a Pick the Winner Each Week league, there is not a whole lot of study.
That said, I only remember a couple of perfect weeks over the last dozen years. It is harder than it looks.
To repeat, this is a fun, light hearted league, and we especially value those who can pun a quip, or quip a funny pun.

They are a shameful and racist a bunch of psychos, and should be roundly excoriated.
Football, on the other hand, is an American Tradition. After our Military, football has done more to shape well-rounded young men than any other societal influence. I am living witness to football's guiding and nurturing potential. From the camaraderie and sense of belonging, to its instructions on personal strength, will and determination, from its never-quit ethos to its 'play by the rules' ethics, football is a great teacher.
All sports share a measure of this, but none push you like football does. Double sessions in pads under a 98° boiling August sun will test, and case-harden, your mettle like nothing else.
So as much as it would be wrong to encourage the kneeling nitwits, it might be far worse to let their inanity cause us to turn our backs on an American Tradition which does so much good for so many.

I’ve even quit watching college ball
To get my football fix (because I love the game) I go to the local high school and support their team. It’s a good time. Food ain’t bad. And priced reasonably
