When was the best time in the past two years to go on the offensive?
Just after the election? Just after being sworn in? When?
Two years ago few knew just how corrupt the DOJ, FBI and the CIA were.
Two years ago the media was pushing a false narrative. President Trump had no successes yet (and now we also know some on his staff and some in the administration were actively working against him).
If the Attorney General would have started against anyone the media would have stepped in and used it against President Trump.
In the balance of power, two years ago, the Democrats had is all.
It has taken all this time for President Trump to slowly gain power and to weaken the left.
The Mueller investigation itself has exposed more wrong doing (from the corrupt swamp)then the AG could have exposed on his own.
The pendulum has swung so that it is now the President that hold all the power. The offensive when it comes will not be a single major bombshell that the media can hide, but more like a series of small hits. An investigation here, a grand jury there until the perception is that the DOJ, FBI and CIA are corrupt and need to be cleaned out.
When public perception is there (and remember, not everyone knows what we here on FreeRepublic know) then it will be time to go after the criminals.
When was the best time in the past two years to go on the offensive?
January of 2017.
If the Attorney General would have started against anyone the media would have stepped in and used it against President Trump.
They did that anyway. Have you not been paying attention?
In the balance of power, two years ago, the Democrats had is all.
No, they didnt. And they dont now.

PS, it was the DOJ Inspector General that sent a criminal referral
on McCabe back in April, not Sessions.
Get your facts straight.
