She sits in a harbor. She “sails” very rarely. And there’s little left of the original ship after numerous renovations.
But she’s still an awesome sight, and a proud reminder of American naval history.
Just an aside, when I read Commiskey in the headline, I remembered Obama making the mistake of calling the White Sox ballpark Cominskey. At the time I thought, did he ever even live in Chicago? NO ONE who ever lived in Chicago would call that ballpark Cominskey. Ok, now I will read the story.....thanks for posting.
