I have been as down on Graham as anyone, but I give him kudos for his statement.
He may be wrong on a lot of important things, but I heartily applaud his heartfelt, scathing, and totally accurate statement he made.
I have to admit, I thought “Who invaded his body and took over his brain?”
I fully understand.
Someone thought he would make a great ‘minority leader’ if we lose the senate. [God forbid!]
I am glad he’s back. I’m glad the Bush family supports Kavanaugh too. But until he gets his mind right on the border, I still hope he becomes a back-bencher.

The ghost of his distinguished predecessor Sen. J. Strom Thurmond, that’s who.
Kudos to Graham.
But remember, Kavanaugh came up in the Bush administration, ran the Vince Foster investigation and was on the Ken Starr special prosecutor team.
Graham has a political and social connection with Kavanaugh — Feinstein was attacking one of his own.
No such defense would have been afforded by Graham to Roy Moore.
That said, Kudos to Graham for standing up for one of his own — he wouldn’t have done it two years ago.
