When Graham did his “reaching across the aisle” this time it was to strangle the democrats and not to embrace them. They crossed the line and Graham put them in their place. I think he now realizes that those people are not and have never been his friends.

I guess I'm going to draw some flack here, but I never take any of these actions at face value. Rather, I think those leading the country are fully aware that we're engaged in a civil war, and are willing to use all available means in order to achieve victory.

Or, to put it more succinctly, the black hat vs white dichotomy is a false description. In actuality, it's really patriots vs globalists, and both sides have the means and ability to employ a wide range of nefarious tactics the news of which never reaches the general public.

To imagine Trump hasn't been fully engaged in this fight 24/7 would be hopelessly naive. I am 100% confident he and his team have not only prepared a complete dossier on the supposed accusers, but have also brought their guns to bear on any supporters who may be wavering. In the case of Graham, one can only image the implied threats (or promised rewards) to come out strongly now that Trump's chief antagonist is ready for his urine bath.

Viewed from a war time prism, all tactics, no matter how nicely presented to news consumers, is actually hand-to-hand scorched earth battle.
