Both premises are wrong.
There is a strong desire within LDS to see or to discover "signs" that tend to validate the prophetic ideas that still fire their hearts, one of which is that saving the pilgrim people in this land will entail LDS leaders taking political leadership.
If this desire, or tendency, could protect and advance Harry Reid, it will certainly serve the purpose to advance Bishop Romney.
