You discredit yourself because you are posting pictures of an AR-9 SBR but you comment that you want an AR-9 pistol. Full stocked firearms with barrels shorter than 16 inches or overall length less than 26 inches are classified SBR’s and require the Form 4 and a six month minimum waiting period minimum before you get the tax stamp. As far as a profile from 2001 doesn’t mean squat. I question why you want to build an impractical firearm and then misrepresent your intent. Popo officers and Army officers have the answers to your questions at their disposal. If you are as such you wouldn’t be asking Freepers for advice but the people you work with.

You have shown yourself to be very misinformed. That is not a “full stocked” firearm in the picture I posted. It is an arm brace and not meant to be fired from the shoulder. Therefore it is classified as a pistol. Stop embarrassing yourself and trying to discredit me and my intentions for asking FReepers for advice.

Sling, you really don’t know what you’re talking about...

Google “arm brace,” there’s tens of thousands of them that have been sold...it’s a huge, thriving market.

There’s also SBS’s on the market now, shotguns that are registered as “firearms” not shotguns so they can have pistol grips and be the same size as an NFA SBS yet they don’t require a tax stamp.
