Besides FR, we have Breitbart, Pajamas Media, One America News.

I would also add Whatfinger News and Lucianne.

The days of sherry-and-harpsichord conservatives—the counterpart of wine-and-cheese liberals—are past. President Trump is teaching conservatives how to fight.

Here, T_D, Voat, 4 and 8chan, gab, Breitbart, WhatFinger, Conservative Treehouse, to name a few. Most heavily seeded with neverTrumpers, NPCs, and doomToons, unfortunately.

We’ve held the moral high ground for years. It’s brought us to the brink.

I don’t like it either but it’s stupid to ignore reality. Our challenge now is to do what must be done without damaging ourselves beyond recovery.

Why do we have to stake out the high ground and remain the only ones? This is a literal war. It is a cold war right now, but the left has aligned itself with worldwide communism. The old Dragon of the Soviets and Mao are still there. We again have built up our enemy to a position where they can seriously challenge us, and we seem to not even see it.

The left has already positioned us as the Nazi’s, and they are not kidding. Antifa is worldwide now, and the old battle between Hitler and Stalin will be played out between the Commie Army dressed in “green” and carrying the D banner of blue. Against the Trump and Brexit style supporters, who they have maneuvered into the carrying of the Red banner of the USSR. It is about time we engage, and knock off this BS of playing nice.

The left has always been hitting with a fist in a steel glove, and it used to be wrapped in velvet. They have dropped the velvet wrapping, and are now looking to draw blood.

Really, more they blood, they want to kill millions. It is the only way to their paradise.

"we need to stay above it if we want to continue to claim the moral high ground."

I don't think the left gives a rats rear end about the "moral high ground," they've conceded that to the right long ago.. They have no morals and they know it..!

The thing is you see, if we had the moral high ground and two bucks we could get a cup of coffee.. My point is, as Khan once said, "if we're not willing to break a few small rules how can we be expected to break bone." And that is exactly what's just over the horizon for our nation…

Soon, if we lose the next election, they're going tell us to capitulate EVERYTHING we hold dear..... Including our Constitution and private property, Then what..?? Do we tuck our tail or do we take up the fight of the founding fathers.? Not very many young folk will stand with us. their brains have been turned to mush by the commies at the schoolhouse.. But, like the man said, the hand writing is on the wall....

Sorry for the rant...I guess this article got me fired up... :)

There was a time—long ago, it seems—when all sides of a given dispute would rationally debate, investigate possibilities, and see the best side win.

That was about 1924, as I read the history.

The problem is some conservatives will complain about how low and rotten the left has become and then respond in kind. It’s completely natural. I find myself doing it. But we need to stay above it if we want to continue to claim the moral high ground. Bu it is really difficult to do in practice.

I'm here to tell you you're wrong. :-)

For a long time the only ones pushing back seemed to be mildly conservative writers. Yet, this was a losing battle. Looking more closely, these writers seemed to feel bound by olden rules of propriety and self-censorship. They wrote weak articles that merely documented a condition, without naming names or taking a stand.

And yet, here is ole Jeffrey, refusing to name names, too.

So I will.

Or should I say George Will.

Yup, he's one of them who aren't named.

David Brooks.

Jennifer Rubin.

Kathleen Parker.

David Rodham Gergen.

William Crystal.

Carl Rove.

Jonah Goldberg.

Charles Krauthammer (RIP).

David French.

Add as you see fit...

“I’m seeing a few bold writers who don’t merely chronicle in some vapid, squishy manner. They don’t just report things politely anymore. They are no longer dispassionately “fair.” Those days have drifted into the sea of a lost Age.

“Where’s this?” critics might say. I’m seeing it crop up here and there. It’s happening in certain important blogs, which I won’t yet name. This is something relatively new and needs to take root. But it’s alive, and happening with more frequency, as liberals seem to become more crazed in statement and action.”

Okay?
