At the normal rate that afternoon would have cost me over $75 for the five of us (kids' camera-shy mother and aunt not in video) to bowl 3 games. However, by using the Summer Pass it only came out to about $3 total.

My dad was a big bowler during and after his air force career. He had many trophies in he and my mom were in leagues, individually and together many times.

But he was not a good teacher. He was great on being uber critical, but poor on helping and instructing. Teaching requires patience, and some folks just don’t have it.

When I got older and bowled with friends, I began to enjoy it. Have bowled in a long time, but still have my own bowling ball, and shoes in a bowling ball case.

Glad to see others still enjoy the game.

Bowling is a great value. Lot’s of fun for not a lot of money. My wife & I are in a seniors’ league for $5 per week each. The only drawback is that there’s a 93 year old woman in our league who has a better average than I do. :^(
