Maybe they should rename the party to ‘The Obstructionist Party’.
They will not back off from anyone or anything until they are told what they want to hear.

It is the cynical party. Journalism claims that negativity is objectivity - which is the perfect definition of “cynicism.” And the Democrat Party has no compunction at all about going along and (quite famously, thank you) getting along with journalism.
Communist Party will do.
Honestly, I think many have tuned out except for some of us news junkies :)
