What Trump is really considering is whether or not he wants to be President in 2020.

If he passes ANY additional gun control measure no matter how big or small he might as well drop the rallies because he won't be reelected. Take that to the bank.

Any gun control measure will lose an additional 2-3 million votes on top of the half a million or more he has already lost due to the bump stock ban. Save the whinning about how bad the alternative is, blah blah blah. Politics does NOT work that way. 2-3 million will stay home and we will have a commie dem in 2020, guaranteed.

At this point he better shut his trap about more gun control or he may lose the election whether he actually passes anything or not. He is losing votes just talking about this nonsense.

My family was severely victimized by both the Soviet’s and the Nazis. None of those people had the ability to say, “No!” to those authorities because of severe gun control. While it may be that my family and I are similarly victimized by historical forces too large to defeat, I promise that this time will not be for free.

As such, I will not be voting for ANY politician who makes it easier for some future tyrant to do similar things to people in this country. If Trump is going to sign Leftist gun control legislation, I will not waste my time going to the polls because it won’t matter to me who wins; instead, Election Day will be spent at the range and that evening I will be cleaning what I took to the range.
