Nobody has suggested “Republicans” are white as the driven snow. Far from it. Those who pay attention also realize that many in law enforcement may have registered as Republicans while working on behalf of Democrats or Democrat agendas. The motive is to “throw off” any suspicion about their loyalty to the rule of law. James Comey, for example, has said he was once a communist.
