Assuming that Minneapolis has a very Left Wing government we've seen the same playbook used against right-wing protesters in many Leftist dominated cities now.
- Police put tight cordons around the permitted or legal right wing protest
- Leftist thugs are allowed to choose the best locations to beat right-wingers.
- Police declare an "unlawful assembly" or "riot" and force the Right-wingers (who are typically unarmed and unarmoured) to go through a gauntlet of armed and armored (helmets, skateboard pads, etc.) leftists, who beat them.
- Any attempt to protect with force by the right is filmed by the Leftists and edited to make it look like it was an aggression.
- The right wingers who are detained are prosecuted to the full extent of the law, even when they were in self-defense mode.
- The left-wingers are given a slap-on-the-wrist, or just released without any charges.
- Any serious injury, like a death, will be attributed to the entire collective of right-wingers, and people who had anything to do with organizing or promoting the rally will be arrested for conspiracy.
- Every bit of (what you thought) was private electronic communication will be gathered as evidence to use against you in the conspiracy trial. God help you if you said something like "if those punks attack us we'll thrash them but good"
- Anyone who can be tied to the right-wing protest will be doxxed, with left wing activists calling your employer and describing you as a domestic terrorist and trying to ge t you fired.
- The Left will use Soros funded Lawfare agents to sue anyone they can possibly sue on the right for civil damages for things like minor injuries and pain and suffering.
- All legal proceedings will take place in the uber-libTard city with highly Leftist judges and juries.
We've seen this pattern (or parts of it) repeated over and over: In Charlottesville, San Jose, Manhattan Beach, Portland, Vancouver.
If you are going to try to go toe-to-toe with Antifa in places where they have strong political support and are effectively operating as an arm of the establishment, like in Portland Oregon and Charlottesville, VA, then you need to take all these factors into your planning.
A young man with some serious mental illness is serving Life in Prison in Virginia (and also under Fed double jeopardy charges) for running over someone after his car was attacked by a mass of Leftist thugs. Yes, he had some stupid ideas and some serious problems, but clearly did not set out to murder anyone, but that's what they stuck him with. (He pled out to avoid death penalty).
The right to protest, just like the right to keep and bear arms, is not honored in Blue Hives. Act accordingly.
