Here's a tip for the next rally. Bring a ratty old folding lawn chair that you don't mind getting rid of. You can then sit in it the whole time you are in line. Once you get to the entrance, they will obviously not let you bring the chair in. So just let them confiscate it. You will notice off to the side a pile of stuff that security confiscated. Your chair will be tossed into that pile. But who cares, it's an old chair you were going to get rid of anyways.

Thanks for the report! I was at the Fairfield, CT Trump rally in August 2016 and it was one of the highlights of my life. Also, that rally was historical as it was the last rally that Trump did without a teleprompter. It was also the week that Paul Manafort got jettisoned from the campaign and Kellyanne Conway and Steve Bannon were brought in.

That rally convinced me that Trump was going to win. A deep blue state like Connecticut on one of the hottest days of the year. We were lined up for hours and hours. Thousands of people were waiting outside - couldn't get in.

Just after the rally ended, a massive thunderstorm came through and broke the heat wave. It was a glorious night all around. But was I tired! I was standing up for nearly 12 hours straight.

More PROOF that I was FIRST IN LINE from another source. Go to the 5:52 mark at this WPLG News VIDEO and you will see that I was FIRST IN LINE. I have the black white gray camo floppy hat on and I am working on my cell phone. Probably tweeting out that I was FIRST IN LINE!!!
