I love the State Song of Virginia the old Dominion state you posted. To the tune of “Shenandoah,” but with far more meaningful and profound lyrics.

This Pennsylvanian joined the Virginia Citizens Defense League. The least I could do, for the present time.

"I have no sympathy for uniformed thugs who would participate in a violation of the God-given individual right of citizens to keep and bear arms"

First uniformed thug to second uniformed thug,

"I don't think everyone in this gun toting mob aiming at us are from Virginia."

they’ve been trying to gin up a Civil War for several years now.

Antifa couldn’t get the blacks and whites to start playing cowboys and Indians with one another, now they’ll try for demonizing gun owners and forcing a 2nd Amendment decision tree to get the job done for them.

President Trump should direct that the civil rights branch of the US Justice Department should investigate states that interfere with the 2nd Amendment.

Many legal VA gun owners will willingly give up their guns.

You are correct. If turns into a shooting war, he will be removed as will many Dems who voted for this bill. Long guns have a long reach.

Love to see it, but so far we haven’t even seen prosecutions for for coup attempts.

It’s larger than that. Pols have forgotten they govern at our consent...which can be withdrawn at any time.

The Pols have forgotten NOTHING!!

They realize that without private ownership of arms, they don't NEED the consent of the governed.

“They are part of the checks and balances of government and can refuse to enforce laws they do not agree with, such as a law that says kill all law enforcement officers.”

True, that was also the decision at Nuremberg.

“Governor Northam is still only floating the idea of a gun buyback program, a racket where the government buys your guns with your money much lower than market value.”

Using tax money from the very people who’s rights are being infringed.

And...AND...using their tax dollars to imprison them.

Tyranny at its finest

This will not turn out well for the Governor nor for Democrats.

There will be an incident which will spark the powder keg. I honestly think this has a high probability, but I also think will be intentional and maybe even a false flag event...

Maybe this would be a good time to re-institute "tarring and feathering," a non-lethal way to humiliate government goons and demonstrate that they are individuals, personally accountable for actions they undertake regardless who directs them.

They have the protection of anonymity within the agencies they work for, and the moral excuse of "just following orders." Bring them out and punish them publicly.

It's a frighteningly extreme prospect to consider, but we may be near the point that it becomes necessary. Whoever gets involved will need self discipline and a well considered plan of how to proceed, something that needs to be worked out ahead of time. You can be sure the FBI has a plan.

We'd better start boning up on the recent history of such actions. There are plenty of parallels to be drawn from successes like the Bundy Ranch standoff, and failures like the Malheur National Wildlife mess. The government will employ terror, given opportunity and an excuse.

“True, that was also the decision at Nuremberg.”

Excellent point. “Just doing my job” is not a defense.
