I absolutely agree with you. Was just explaining the mindset argument I’ve heard over and over.
My only problem with Barr is he’s not getting rid of the entrenched deep staters. How can Clinton be investigated and let go? Given the plethora of evidence of her malfeasance, how did she not get busted?
Barr is slow-walking McCabe, Comey and many more. It’s excruciating and justice delayed is justice denied.
Have you ever tried to to fire a government employee? I have and I have both succeeded and failed. It is extraordinarily hard to do. In one case, I finally got an employee transferred to the Chaplain's office. It wasn't fair to the Chaplain, but she was able to perform better without the time and performance standards stresses.
I would expect that employees at the DOJ would have the skills to successfully fight off attempts to fire them.
